Ya small ones that aren't horribly noticeable aren't terrible, but the large ones are a turn off. Even the so called "tramp stamp" is a turn off to me.

I wouldn't be opposed to a large one, if it is tasteful, has a story, and is mostly out of site while wearing normal clothing.
I've considered getting one myself but I'd hate to see it 40 years from now

That is what some people forget, what seems cutting edge now is not so appropriate in later life. There is an up and growing business in tattoo removal, what cost a hundred or two to have done costs thousands to remove.

I know I shouldn't really say anything (Considering I'm going for it in December), but I find the fact that you get people wanting it early and illegally getting them a bit scarier. With all the infection, the lawbreaking and all that stuff.

lulwut Tyla? If you have parental permission over here you can do a LOT of things. Lots of parents don't care and give their kids permission to do stupid stuff like that.
Tats 40 years down the road... very scary thought....

When did I say it was any different? I was referring to those who did do it illegally, I.E. without consent while 16 or 17.

40 years....when I'm 80+ I certainly doubt that I will care!
Have thought about it mostly to cover up some spider veins (....I'm female and middle aged....) but hubby is totally against it ....had wanted to get a unicorn or a teddy bear. (ankle area)....but now I just watch the spider veins get more ....spidery?
oh well....age is not always a friend

Most people just wait. You have to be the right age to get one here or else they won't give you a tat. So it is kind of hard to do it illegally.
Personally I hope my gf never gets a tat. Just don't like them.

Id rather have an airbrushed tat. Its temporary and I dont have to worry about it turning to crap when I get old. I will definitely think twice about dating a girl if she has a tramp stamp.

Ya, if she has a tramp stamp it is hit it and quit it. Otherwise it's game on.

well I dont think I would be considered a tramp (heck I am married and rarely even leave my house....and I also very very rarely where shorts/skirts so no one would ever get to see it anyways...except hubby and me.)
but decided to just watch my spider veins grow instead.
risky...the results arent diminished...they are just BAD
dinner....had some arctic char ....pretty tasteless fish...ah well, now we know.
tomorrow is chili---turkey chili....cant wait!

Just a single wing on my left arm.

Top side, between my hand and elbow. Well, not that far up, maybe about 3 inches below the elbow.

lol I put chill cause I was thinking chili, durrrrrrrr. That is what I get for being in a rush.
I figured as much, seems like a lot of people get tats there because they think it is cool. Either that or they get barbed wire around their bicep.

Your upper arm is an area that deforms quite a lot so if you have tattoos there they will definitely look ugly. When you put it on your lower arm it can look quite alright.
That's what I've been told, at least.
I'm thinking about getting one, but I'm not sure what. Definitely don't want one of those lame tribal tats.
Oh and I quite like tattoos on girls. Pretty hot imo.

You know what else is lame? Skulls.
Though I'm curious where you got that information. I'm considering looking into it to find the best place to have my (small) tattoo done, and it seems that right by the shoulder is the best way to put it (at the end of them on the "beginning" of your arm going down). Mainly because I don't think changes would affect that area much...

I don't remember where I got it from, I'll try to find it though...
You could always ask a tattoo artist for advice?
Btw Tyla, what are you getting?
EDIT: I couldn't find the site where I got the info from, but I suppose you could ask in a local tattoo shop or something....
